Your guide to a 'custom' mortgage.
Custom Mortgage is here to guide you through every step in applying for a home loan. We're here to make the process as straightforward and as hassle free as possible.
Below is our seven step guide to your 'Custom' Mortgage.
Step 1: Appointment
At your initial loan appointment, it's like taking a brief. We'll sit down with you and get a good understanding of your current position and what you're looking to achieve in the way of home finance.
We will help you select a loan that is right for you, while explaining all the details of the chosen loan and assist in completing your loan application form.
Step 2: Application
Your loan application is professionally put together by Custom Mortgage, with all the supporting material that is required by the chosen lender. This package is submitted to the lender for their consideration.
Step 3: Assessment
Your application is assessed by the lender and they will coordinate with us if additional information is required by them, or if they need to arrange a property valuation.
Step 4: Approval
We'll advise you when your loan has been unconditionally approved by the lender. Now is the time to contact a conveyancer or solicitor.
Step 5: Loan Contract
A loan contract will be forwarded to you for you to sign and return. This paperwork outlines the terms and conditions of the loan.
As aways, if you have any questions regarding the loan documentation, we're only a phone call away.
Step 6: Mortgage documents
Mortgage documents are sent to you or your conveyancer/lawyer, from your lender, to be signed and returned. These documents outline the standard terms and conditions of the lender.
Step 7: Settlement
Custom Mortgage will liaise with your conveyancer/lawyer and the lender to arrange for settlement to take place. The loan will be ‘drawn down’ and the property will transfer into your ownership.
And finally, enjoy your new home!
